I would like to bring to your attention that presently we are
dealing with an outbreak of scabies in the community. We are taking all the
necessary measures to control and prevent further spread which includes contact
tracing and prophylactic treatment. Scabies can be highly infectious especially
to close contacts.
We encourage you to notify the Infectious disease prevention and
control unit of any suspected or confirmed cases that you may encounter in your
practice to help mitigate further spread.
